Short Term Rehabilitation Rehabilitation by Kessler. Tallwoods Care Center is pleased to offer subacute (short-term) rehabilitation services by nationally known Kessler Rehabilitation Corporation. With over fifty years experience, Kessler treats all types of patient needs, from short term post surgical rehabilitation, to comprehensive physical, occupational and speech therapy.
Our comprehensive rehabilitation program includes licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists who provide encouragement at regularly scheduled, individualized sessions. As a result, we often see significant improvements in our residents' capabilities, as well as an increased interest and involvement in their own care. Our program is successful in transitioning an individual between the hospital and home, with the ultimate goal of returning each individual to the community. Our subacute program includes:
Patients requiring rehabilitation may be covered by Medicare or managed care insurance. Tallwoods Care Center accepts Medicare, Medicaid and participating managed care insurances. Our admissions and social services staff will assist patients and family members in understanding these benefits.  |
